exhibition in the streets of Berlin; theme of the collages: China-Tibet-Conflict 2008
The basic idea of the project is to bring art to the public in a different way; to surprise people and bring them in contact with art in their everyday life. With the placement of the collages on the ground of high frequented walkways it plays with the direct confrontation.
Befor the olympic games in China 2008 the country is the watched by the media. there is a lot of misbehaviour against humanity and espacially against Tibet. I want to show the problems of the China-Tibet-Conflict in my own personell way, an interpretation with illustration. I want to confront people in their everydaylife.
Straßenausstellung: China & Tibet
Zum Anlaß der olympischen Spiele im August 2008 zeigte ich in Form einer Straßenausstellung einige Collagen zu dem Verhältnis Chinas zu Tibet. China als Gastgeber Olympias steht im Zentrum der Aufmerksamkeit. Es gibt viele Mißstände und Menschenrechtsverletzungen innerhalb der chinesischen Bevölkerung und vor allem mit dem Umgang mit Tibet. Ich möchte auf einige Mißstände aufmerksam machen und habe mich für eine Ausstellung im öffentlichen Raum entschieden, da ich den Betrachter direkt in seiner alltäglichen Situation ansprechen möchte. Das Thema hat gerade vor Beginn der olympischen Spiele besondere Prisanz und deshalb wird es ohne Umwege veröffentlicht. Die entstandenen Collagen sind auf dem Gehweg oder in der Mitte eines Platzes auf den Boden angebracht und stellen sich somit in den Weg des Vorbeigehenden.
